
Emilee Benner
Emilee Benner has been working in the birth world for over a decade. She began her work teaching infant massage to parents whose babies had special needs and that quickly led into family and friends inviting her into their births. She has been a dedicated doula for over eight years now, having supported hundreds of families. She is also certified in prenatal kundalini instruction, neo-natal resuscitation, post-partum doula support, and is a placenta preparation specialist. Emilee is a labor assistant at TLC Midwifery Care, student of midwifery, and looks forward to becoming a midwife of her own someday. She sits on a wonderful committee at Cedars Sinai hospital and enjoys dedicating her time when not at births to helping advocate for more evidence based care and supported mother/baby led births. Emilee wholeheartedly believes that supporting parents through their pregnancy, childbirth, and beginning years is the most effective way to help create health and harmony in today’s world. Emilee is committed to helping educate and support parents to excite confidence through this sacred passage into becoming a family.

Kimme McGuire
Kimme McGuire is the founder of Embracing Childbirth, a DONA certified birth doula, certified breastfeeding counselor through the Public Health Department, labor assistant at TLC Midwifery Care, student of midwifery, and placenta preparation specialist. Beyond her work, Kimme is a wife to a loving husband and a mother to her son born at home in 2008. The birth experience of her son was so empowering and transformative that Kimme was forever changed. It was at this time that she found her calling to support women and their partners through pregnancy and birth and began her journey into midwifery.
Since then, Kimme has served many women, men and babies through support and education. She is deeply passionate about protecting a woman's right to birth wherever and however she feels most comfortable. Kimme helps educate parents how to gain access to care providers who can meet the mothers needs and support her choices. Noel Almario
Noel Almario is a professionally trained Birth Doula(DONA), midwife’s assistant at Del Mar Birth Center, placenta encapsulation specialist, childbirth educator, and mother to 3 beautiful boys. She is trained in Hypnobirthing techniques for labor and used those techniques in the birth of her third son, a natural VBAC (Vaginal Birth After Cesarean). A native to Los Angeles, Noel has had the opportunity to not only attend births as a doula in many of the local area hospitals, she herself has also given birth in 3 different hospitals in Los Angeles. This gives her the unique perspective of being professionally capable of advocating with her clients while maintaining her ability to truly empathize and understand her clients feelings about their own birthing experiences. Noel believes in empowering women through education and information so that every woman can make informed decisions for her own family. She fiercely believes in evidence-based maternity care and is currently working towards her nursing degree in order to become a Certified Nurse Midwife. In her spare time, Noel enjoys spending time with her sons while hiking, going to the beach and doing kundalini yoga.
